Samsung announced a dual-mode LTE Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy
S4 device. The company is said to be the first in launching devices
having the ability to shift between LTE modes- both TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE.

Obviously the technology has been incorporated in devices before like
the ZTE Grand Era but to be able to select a specific LTE mode, the
users had to reboot their phone first. This extra step has been deemed unnecessary by the South Korean giant with the LTE specific technology being integrated in Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini we should witness the release of these variants soon.
Samsung has further explained there will be no interference with the
ongoing activity of the users on the device when it shifts from one network to the other. This implements that the data sessions and ongoing voice calls
will automatically be shifted without disturbing the user, sounds
convenient. This is indeed a major breakthrough especially for Galaxy S4
users who have a rigorous travelling routine. Their Samsung S4 devices
will automatically shift over to the network that offers the most
bandwidth thus ensuring high speed connection without having to restart their Smartphone to switch over a network.
As said, the technology will be implemented in the new versions of the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini. Well, the company hasn’t specified and these Smartphones will be available for purchase, we know that they will hit the worldwide markets from many regions such as the US, China, Australia, Middle East, Northern and Eastern Europe, and Southwest Asia, which means that everybody will have the possibility to get their hands on it.
